ENGLISH TEST

i just came home from this ridiculous english competition(:
sighhh.
i shouldnt have taken it!
好后悔。
it wasn't that difficult, it was just that the listening sucked.
like, the sound wasn't clear and sounded like an echo.
stupid right. wth.
anyway the test was supposed to help us get to better high schools.
but i dont really think it's gonna help.
such a waste of time and money.
i just got to know that my english has deproved;
:( so much.
ok the question was:
[49]the m_________ is a race whereby the official length is 42.195km.
i thought it was 'maraton' at first. *-*
paisei sia.
then suddenly i remembered something about 'marathon'.
so i changed.
then after a while i felt that the word looked somehow weird, so i changed back to 'maraton'.
when there was 2 minutes left i made a sentece to see how both words fitted in.
- I particiapted in the maraton race.
- I participated in the marathon race.
so heng!
i changed back to 'marathon'.
yay:D
and of course it was the answer.
my sixth sense works all the time(:
in the end i guess it's a happy ending.
next year i'm never gonna take part in it again. {:
